Performance evaluation is a formal and productive procedure to measure an employee's work and results based on their job responsibilities. It is used to gauge the amount of value added by an employee in terms of increased business revenue, in comparison to industry standards and overall employee return on investment. Performance evaluation also plays a direct role in providing periodic feedback to employees.

ReplyDeletePerformance evaluation is a key component of a proper employee performance management system that supports performance appraisal as well as a performance reward. This supports the organization to understand the overall performance of employees, their abilities and infirmities, discrepancies towards the organization, encourage the employee base and start a new plan.

The best way to monitor and evaluate is to communicate with both management and employees regarding the practical issues generated while working. reviewing and analyzing must be done as many people as possible individually and in groups. Evaluation can be done by project team members and/or human resource work.
Year-end, mid-year, or quarterly employee evaluation is the industry standard way of evaluating staff members. But my viewpoint is, that is the traditional way of performance evaluation. Now we need to move to 360 or Other words continuous feedback method.. that will always motivate the employees and it will help employees to build their career.

It's a good moment to give feedback, recognize good work, and set goals for future job performance. It's also a good opportunity to have open and honest discussions about poor performance and how to improve it.
